Nikon released version 1.40 firmware for the Z5 camera that includes the following:
- Added support for NX MobileAir, MC-N10 grips, and ML-L7 remote controls.
- Eye detection focus is now available when recording video. Eye detection performance was improved overall.
- Focus points in the viewfinder refresh faster for Subject tracking and all eye detection modes.
- Added button customization support for Save focus position and Recall focus position for lenses that support it.
- The usual bug fixes.
