Nikon has updated the original Z6 and Z7 to firmware 3.60, with the only real change being support for the MC-N10 Remote Grip.
The Z6 II and Z7 II received functional updates to version 1.60:
- Custom Setting #D9 gets the Always/Only when flash is not used option from the Z8/Z9.
- Custom Setting #D10, Warm display colors was added to match the Z8/Z9.
- Custom Setting #D11, Image frame was added to match the Z8/Z9.
- Custom Setting #G7 now allows you set a tally light on the display when recording video.
- SETUP now includes the Z8/Z9 Finder display size (photo Lv).
- Prioritize viewfinder now gets the (1) and (2) options from the Z8/Z9.
- Three known bugs were fixed.
Note that the Z6 II and Z7 II received a Supplemental Firmware Update Manual, which describes the new features in versions 1.50 and 1.60.
