The following firmware updates were made for the Z System in April while this site was quiet:
- 24-120mm f/4 S — adds support for focus ring rotation range and roles.
- 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 S — adds support for focus ring rotation range and roles.
- Z6 II and Z7 II 1.40 firmware — adds ML-L7 support and improved autofocus performance in still photography.
- Z9 2.0 firmware. This upgrade is extensive, with numerous still photography and video feature additions, changes, and fixes. I'll deal with this in a separate article. Simple advice: update your Z9!
I've also updated the Nikon software section of this Web site for April changes.
